This piece was inspired by my childhood of going to the beach. My mother has always had a deep draw to the ocean so our vacations were typically beach-focused no matter where they were. This painting represents the peace I feel when I'm near the ocean. Passed down from and in honor of my mother.
 
This painting features a great blue heron standing on a dock surrounded by their native habitat. Free of all worry.
