This piece was inspired by our need for human connection. As the world continues to find solace staring at our phones - I have found more solace lately connecting in person. These herons are meant to represent the dance of a relationship. Sometimes we are in sync and sometimes we aren't, but thats okay. It's all meant to be messy and beautiful. Even when things are ugly - we still need eachother.
 
This painting features two great blue herons in a mating dance. This piece can represent love, but it can also represent connection of all types. The hope that we will continue alongside those we care about. The frame is handpainted and shows of a glorious glossy sheen.
 
This painting is a one of one. Acrylic paint on stretched canvas. Sealed with multiple layers of gloss varnish.
