This piece was the first I created in the series. I always loved seeing Herons growing up - my mom would always point them out to me. I've always been captivated by animals and I wanted this painting to show the elegance of herons.
 
This piece features a great blue heron looking to the sky. Looking up to the future. A symbol of hope. The feathers floating in the wind towards the sky.
