This piece was inspired by our need for human connection. As the world continues to find solace staring at our phones - I have found more solace lately connecting in person. These herons are meant to represent the dance of a relationship. Sometimes we are in sync and sometimes we aren't, but thats okay. It's all meant to be messy and beautiful. Even when things are ugly - we still need eachother.
 
This painting features two great blue herons in a mating dance. This piece can represent love, but it can also represent connection of all types. The hope that we will continue alongside those we care about.
